Iran holds 2nd exclusive exhibition in Syria

The second exclusive exhibition of Iran in Syria was opened at Damascus International Exhibition Center on Tuesday with the presence of Iran's Minister of Industry, Syrian Minister of Economy and some traders and investors from two countries.

Tehran (ISNA) – The second exclusive exhibition of Iran in Syria was opened at Damascus International Exhibition Center on Tuesday with the presence of Iran's Minister of Industry, Syrian Minister of Economy and some traders and investors from two countries.

Most of traders who participated in the exhibition site praised the high capabilities and potentials of the Islamic Republic of Iran in economic fields, considering it as a big step forward in promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to Iran's Ministry of Industry, 164 Iranian companies have showcased their capabilities in various fields.

Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin told reporters at the inauguration of the fair that Iran is ready to invest in Syria as a joint venture in order to supply its domestic demands and export of products to the regional countries.

Chairman of Iran-Syria Joint Chamber of Commerce also described organizing this exhibition in the tough economic situation of Syria “important” and emphasized that this exhibition will play a key role in improving the economic situation in Syria and countering the US cruel sanctions.
